PCIe Design Verification Lead Engineer
Job Description
Develops PCIe/CXL verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage to confirm to microarchitecture specifications for FPGA.
Executes verification plans and defines and runs system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.
Replicates, root causes, and debugs issues in the pre-silicon environment.
Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests
Collaborates with FPGA/PCIe/CXL architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
Documents test plans and drives technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
Maintains and improves existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
Documents, reviews, and executes the verification strategy plan on different methodologies/techniques (e.g., gate level simulation strategy, power patterns/aware simulations).

In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
6+ years of experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in comprehensive verification of industry standard IP or interconnect protocols (e.g. PCI Express, CXL, USB, PIPE, NOC etc)
Expert in System Verilog and UVM with proficient on programming and scripting skill.
Experience with simulation modeling, industry debug tool, testbench architecture definition and its development.
Self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills and dream to work as a great teammate. A history of mentoring junior engineers a huge plus.
