Standard Cell Design Engineer

Job Description

In this position, you will participate in design, development, QA and delivery of corporate standard cell libraries using leading process technologies for use in design of Intel's next-generation SoCs, microprocessors and Intel Foundry customer designs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and develop the physical layout of standard cells, including logic gates, sequential cells, clock cells etc. Conduct post-layout simulations and analysis to verify the performance of standard cells. Participate in the development and maintenance of layout design methodologies and automation scripts to improve efficiency and consistency. Optimize standard cell layouts for area, power, and performance, ensuring compliance with design rules. Collaborate with circuit design engineers to understand design specifications and performance requirements. Document layout design processes and contribute to the creation of layout design guidelines and best practices. Library characterization for timing, noise, power and variation models

Qualifications

You must possess a minimum of BS/MS with VLSI/EE/Computer Science/Engineering or Microelectronics specialization. Experience in digital circuit design, including CMOS combinatorial logic and sequential element design and layout Knowledge on circuit simulation, STA, library characterization, synthesis, place and route, physical design verification Experience in scripting (TCL, Perl, Phython, cshell, SKILL) for design automation Experience working in the Linux environment and its development tools #DesignEnablement

Working Model
