Job Description
As a Silicon Photonics Burn-In Equipment Engineer, you will develop and sustain first-of-a-kind wafer-level testing methods to validate device lifetimes for Intel's Silicon Photonic modules. You will play a critical role in the next generation silicon photonics products by developing, maintaining, and improving the critical wafer level reliability testing. You will identify equipment hardware or software required to achieve the necessary acceleration factors to validate the laser reliability. You will be responsible for development and sustaining of critical success indicators, cost and safety of the module.

Full time onsite required during training, estimated 6 months. After training: hybrid “work from home” to be defined by manager and employee but continued onsite will be required.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a bachelors or MS degree with + 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical discipline.
4+ year experience with semiconductor equipment/process engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with BOM, procurement and supply chain systems.
Demonstrated problem resolution on semiconductor equipment.
Thermal modeling experience.
Experience in a development environment.
Knowledge of creating and maintaining databases.
Proficiency in C#, Lunix, Python or SQL.
