Software Engineer

Job Description

The Application Engineer is primarily a Software Engineer in Habana lab. The role involves assisting remote debug in lab and customer support activities. Application Engineers act as consultants and provide support to third party product developers, has good interpersonal skills and possesses a strong sense of engagement and continuous process improvement. This candidate has enterprise system integration, OS experience, test plan development, CI/CD and DevOps experience will be plus.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: � Assist Engineer to setup DUT for system test. � Perform script test and able to do entry level debugging. � Maintain the inventory of equipment and tools in Lab. � Support for root cause analysis on RMA and or test failures to identify root cause(s) and achieve mitigation. � Build, develop/debug automation front-end and back-end framework and tests. � Manage bug lifecycle and collaborate with inter-groups to drive for solutions. � Assist lab management activities. Preferred Qualifications: � BS or higher degree in CS/EE/CE or equivalent experience. � 3+ years of software quality assurance or test automation background with knowledge of test infrastructure and strong analysis skills. � Scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash) knowledge and UNIX/Linux experience. � Willing to support lab management � Good English written and oral communication skills.
