Network App Delivery Engineer
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
Determines and deploys robust, stable, and manageable IT network infrastructure and computing services.
Designs and implements new network solutions, supports network server services, and recommends actions to improve the efficiency of current networks.
Works with customers to determine network requirements and proposes and implements standard designs that meet customer needs.
Performs network design and implementation and provides network support for projects that may be enterprise-wide initiatives to localized solutions, and/or may span across multiple departments or functions.
Scans the market to assess technology, product, and tools applicable to Intel's network environment, performs impact analysis of new technologies on environment, and explores new solutions that drive efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Troubleshoots and conducts root cause analysis of incidents to identify appropriate solutions that resolve network issues across the organization.
Monitors and performs capacity studies, delivers proactive reporting and monitoring, and performs network upgrades.
Automates manual repeatable tasks through scripting to drive efficiency and eliminate errors.
Maintains and controls computer networks and related computing environments, coordinates, plans, monitors, and implements network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Adapts and learns new technology and partners with other IT organizations for knowledge building.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ years of experience -OR- a master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related field and experience in:
2+ years of experience working in a corporate IT environment supporting DNS and App Delivery environments.

Understanding of the principles of Application Delivery Networking and experience in working with key industry leaders in the app delivery space e.g., F5 Local Traffic Manager.
Understanding of DNS, DHCP and IPAM usage in an enterprise environment with windows-based DNS/DHCP solutions preferred.
Some experience in python/ansible development and deployment skills preferred.
Exposure to overlay management systems for DNS e.g., Men and Mice or Infoblox.
