Job Description
Do Something Wonderful!
Intel put the Silicon in Silicon Valley. No one else is this obsessed with engineering a brighter future. Every day, we create world changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth. So, if you have a big idea, let's do something wonderful together. Join us, because at Intel, we are building a better tomorrow.
Who We Are

The candidate will work on pathfinding project on next I/O generation and supporting and enabling Intel products ranging from high-density low-power inter-chip I/O to high performance serial I/O for servers and datacenters. As a member of a dynamic team from various Intel locations, the candidate will be exploring solutions for scaling I/O and interconnects for future platforms and collaborate with internal and external partners from the I/O community.
Who You Are
Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
Drives the analog platform architecture and enables the necessary platform power ingredients (including power delivery architecture), integration requirements of IPs, High Speed I/O, and analog subsystems.
Develops signal integrity, power integrity, and authors/signsoff on specifications to deliver on the product strategy.
Defines power delivery components and floor plan for the platform in partnership with the SoC team including integrated PMICs, power converters, thermal requirements, electrical and interconnect specifications, and configures voltage requirements used by analog modules (ADC and DAC) in devices to support next generation analog platform and power delivery solutions.
Works on achieving key platform solution targets and ensure competitiveness by defining turbo power levels and load lines necessary to meet the landing zone objectives of performance, real estate optimization, cost, and battery life, while reducing signal attenuation, cross talk, jitters, and power noise for optimal SIPI performance.
Conducts feasibility studies and works with development teams to deliver solutions. Defines power delivery, signal integrity, and power integrity targets, architect’s platform solutions meeting them, and ensures delivery to the end customer as part of the platform design guide.
Collaborates with the SoC, platform, power, IO, and interconnects teams to create and define power sequencing requirements, platform power, and signal path requirements for highspeed interfaces (PCIe, UXI, CXL, USB, and Ethernet).
