Job Description

AIntel's Haifa campus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student intern to join our Core Microcode Design team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a student with a background in electrical engineering or computer science to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of cutting-edge microprocessor technology.

In this role, you will be tasked with developing, validating, and optimizing microcode that governs the internal operations and instruction execution of Intel x86 processors.

You will collaborate with processor architects to define microcode architecture and design instructions aimed at improving processor performance, efficiency, security, and functionality.

Additionally, you will play a key role in innovating and enhancing Intel processor technology, working alongside other architecture and design engineers to resolve performance and design challenges through microcode solutions.

You will join a great team dedicated to enhancing work methods and the work environment to boost overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 full semesters remaining until graduation.
• Basic understanding of microprocessor architecture – an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Model
