Software Integration Engineer

Job Description

• Integration Strategy and Leadership: Lead the development and execution of integration strategies that align with business objectives. Guide and mentor a team of integration specialists and developers to ensure high-quality execution of integration projects. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define integration requirements and goals.
• Integration Activities: Lead end-to-end integration projects, from requirement gathering and system design to deployment and post-launch support. Ensure adherence to project deadlines and performance expectations. Records release cadence towards external customers, enables proper external release BOM list, and may hold the decision of software release. Define smoke/sanity of software code, drive complete software build and release setup and cadence, define entry and exit criteria for software teams, define project branching strategies. Responsible for mainline health for Multiple programs .
• Technical Expertise: Design and implement integration solutions using various technologies, including APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and cloud platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance. Stay current with industry trends and emerging integration technologies to recommend improvements and innovation.
• Collaboration and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all integration-related issues within the organization. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of integration requirements and progress. Document integration processes, standards, and best practices.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and validation of integration solutions to ensure they meet functional, performance, and security requirements. Conduct risk assessments and ensure that appropriate testing, monitoring, and quality assurance processes are in place.

Qualifications

• Must possess B.E./B.Tech./or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 10+ years experience in Software Integration and Release area
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations.
• Good work experience in Windows and Linux BSP.
• Strong Programming Skills in C, shell script, python script.
• Good understanding of OS feature development methodologies and debug techniques.
• Good understanding of OS and kernel system and continuous integration process.
• Working knowledge in the software engineering development lifecycle process.
• Knowledge of Intel and PC/Embedded systems.
• Good understanding of DevOps pipelines and software development process, SW Security standards.
• Rapidly iterate on product ideas, build prototypes, and participate in proof of concepts.
• Collaborate with teams in trouble shooting release issues.
• Implement Docker for smaller-scale applications that require simpler deployments.
• Structure our user interface and ensure REST API access is available for enterprise-grade customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong debugging and System Integration skills. Must be capable of troubleshooting Windows and Linux OS.
